Job Description Summary

This role will have primary responsibility for Supply Chain activities within the assigned Platforms and Product Lines to achieve business objectives, customer service goals and optimize inventory. The role will be responsible for forecasting, inputs to SIOP and IBP for the given product portfolios in alignment with market and financial requirements with the highest goal of increasing forecast accuracy. Successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of forecasting strategic, demonstrate initiative and strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Harness the Power of Data – Transform analytical, marketing, and sales insights into precise forecasts across our diverse global high‑mix portfolio
  • Real‑Time Monitoring Wizard – Track demand patterns as they happen, spotting variances and proactively solving potential service challenges before they impact customers
  • Accuracy Champion – Spearhead process improvements to enhance forecast precision and reduce bias
  • Database Detective – Expertly query databases to extract critical decision‑making information
  • SIOP Orchestrator – Own and lead monthly demand SIOP reviews with cross‑functional business teams
  • Launch Strategist – Drive demand planning for new product introductions within your assigned platform
  • Inventory Strategist – Calculate and implement intelligent stocking strategies (ISS) for product launches
  • Lifecycle Manager – Oversee product phase‑outs with strategies to minimize inventory scrap
  • Supply Chain Partner – Work closely with global supply planners to mitigate risks to customer service, inventory levels, and costs
  • Global Allocation Expert – Develop worldwide inventory strategies, including production prioritization and regulatory build approaches
  • Safety Stock Guardian – Provide expert input on safety stock targets, including calculations, proposals, and ongoing maintenance
  • Inventory Risk Assessor – Partner with inventory managers to analyze global demand impacts, including depletion estimates and E&O risk
  • Reporting Ace – Own SIOP and forecast accuracy reporting, including Integrated Business Planning presentations
  • Strategic Advisor – Provide crucial insights to Business Unit leadership and support annual Business Planning
  • Portfolio Optimizer – Contribute to SKU rationalization, RECODE, and lifecycle management initiatives
  • Executive Communicator – Create compelling executive‑level presentations that drive decision‑making
  • Compliance Champion – Maintain personal and company adherence to all Federal, State, local and company regulations for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or another relevant field and 5 years relevant experience
  • MBA/MS in a relevant discipline and 3 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in ERP systems (i.e., JDE, SAP, ECC, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Kinaxis/Rapid Response experience
  • SAP Demand Planning
  • Forecasting certification
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong experience and knowledge of demand/supply/production planning, forecasting techniques, inventory management, capacity leveling and logistics
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills to resolve conflicts impacting the business strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
