Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Penetration:
Spearhead the development and execution of dynamic sales strategies to aggressively secure new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on outbound sales initiatives. - Revenue Optimization:
Consistently identify and implement innovative tactics to maximize revenue streams across all segments, ensuring Outbound Sedona exceeds its financial targets. - Relationship Architect:
Cultivate and nurture robust, long‑term relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and corporate clients, transforming connections into valuable partnerships. - Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Inspire and empower a high‑performing team, fostering a culture that resonates with Sedona's adventurous spirit. - Market Intelligence & Adaptation:
Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and economic shifts, leveraging insights to strategically adjust sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge. - Brand Advocacy (The Out bounder):
Act as a passionate ambassador, effectively communicating our unique value proposition and the unforgettable experiences we offer. - Performance Analytics:
Utilize comprehensive sales data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness, forecast future demand, and make data‑driven decisions that propel our growth. - Collaborative Growth:
Work seamlessly with the hotel's leadership team and operations departments to ensure unified strategies and exceptional guest experiences.
Our ideal candidate will be:
- Seasoned Expertise: Minimum of five years of progressive, hotel sales experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
- Sales Success: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Educational Background: A college degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related field is preferred, or you possess substantial professional experience demonstrating equivalent expertise.
- Dynamic Leadership: You are a highly dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, capable of adeptly managing multiple functions and troubleshooting challenges as they arise.
- Technological Proficiency: You are proficient in computer and software applications and have a preferred working knowledge of Delphi.
- Local Market Insight: Familiarity with, or prior experience, in the local market is a distinct advantage for this role.
- Communication & Perception
:
Regularly required to communicate verbally, hear, and visually perceive information. - Prolonged Sitting
:
Ability to sit for 90% or more of an 8‑hour work shift. - Lifting & Movement
:
Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs. - Visual Acuity

Possess various visual abilities, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus. - Technological Use
:
Proficiency in using a computer and answering phones. - Work Environment

Work is performed in a typically low‑noise, indoor office environment. - Schedule
:
Ability to shift schedule based on the needs of the hotel and customer. - Travel
:
Requires a flexible schedule for travel to represent Outbound Sedona at regional and national hospitality conferences.
