Job Description

Position Summary:

Receives, stores and distributes supplies, mail, and equipment, and provides courier service to and from satellite clinics and all other off-campus sites for supplies, pharmaceuticals, mail and equipment and is responsible for all outgoing and incoming mail processing for GRHC by performing the following duties personally. Responsible for ensuring that all critical tasks are fulfilled on a timely basis.

• Receives nearly all items and materials used by the enterprise, and matches received items to packing slips while accurately entering all items into inventory management system.
• Maintains valid and accurate inventory counts, rotates stock, and removes/accounts for outdated items.
• Delivers items as ordered by all serviced departments and facilities.
• Monitors all department locations daily for replenishing supplies on a par basis.
• Processes and applies postage to all outgoing mail articles while utilizing appropriate service levels at lowest possible cost.
• Sets up and maintains department par for replenishment scanning of inventory supplies.
• Conducts monthly cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
• Serves as first responders to code red emergencies.
• Maintains security of all property within areas of responsibility.
• Strictly maintains confidentiality of all GRHC, patient, employee and vendor information and maintains compliance with the GRHC Conflict of Interest policy.
• Demonstrates ability to regularly change priorities to accomplish all tasks despite frequent interruptions.
• Demonstrates ability to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing, while performing all essential functions.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior medical environment work experience is preferred.
• Arizona driver’s license and the ability to legally and safely drive.
• Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures.
