Finance Controller

Position: FINANCE CONTROLLER
Our customer is an international company that is part of an important corporate group.
We are looking for a Finance Controller who will support the Finance Director in compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies at the local level.
Responsibilities

Providing financial insight to the plant Finance Director
Analysing cost‑centre expenses and supporting discussions with cost‑centre managers
Supporting the definition of improvement actions
Conducting financial data analytics to identify trends, potential risks and improvement areas within the plant
Assisting in the preparation of local financial statements (local GAAP and Swiss GFS)
Applying internal risk controls (ICS) at the plant level
Managing local CAPEX in line with group guidelines and DLOA
Evaluating CAPEX projects, preparing business cases and supporting investment controlling (time, cost, impact)
Handling operational and production controlling at the local sites
Analyzing margins (business units/product lines, pre‑/post‑calculations of orders)
Reporting to Business Unit and Group Management
Developing the plant’s annual budget and forecasting, in coordination with relevant employees
Controlling plant spending against budgets and identifying cost‑saving and profitability‑increasing measures when necessary
Controlling plant capital expenditure against budgets and group guidelines
Importing and validating data

Qualifications

Degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or a related discipline
3‑5 years of experience in finance and controlling roles in an international company
Experience in the manufacturing industry and with international companies
Deep expertise in manufacturing control
Expertise in long‑ and mid‑term planning, budgeting and forecasting
Expertise in investment/CAPEX management (business‑case planning, CAPEX planning, project controlling, impact controlling)
Deep expertise in data analytics and the ability to handle large data sets to deliver actionable business insights
Ability to understand business processes and integrated business models and to identify potential improvement areas
