Position OverviewWe are currently looking to hire a Part-Time Certified School Psychologist who can conduct psycho educational evaluations for grades K-12 that include but are not limited to initial evaluations and reevaluations for students who attend Enspire’s network of partnering schools. As a school psychologist with ENSPIRE, this member of the team shall compose comprehensive psycho educational assessment reports that analyze student strengths and needs.
The school psychologist shall clearly interpret the performance results and identify researched based recommendation strategies that support individual students’ needs. The ideal candidate shall provide professional consultation services to partnering school personnel. The school psychologist shall provide culturally and economically diverse services to a population of individuals. Enspire is willing to train and mentor 1st year Certified School Psychologist.
- Scheduling is flexible (2-5 days per week during school hours) and based on your availability
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Write assessment reports, including recommendations.
- Interpret and analyze student academic, social, and emotional data.
- Consult with school staff on the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
- Consult with staff and families to provide strategies for enhancing learning and managing behavior.
Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the role as required, and to work in the environmental conditions required, such as standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, speaking loudly and clearly, seeing and hearing things both near and far away; fine finger and hand manipulation in the use of a computer, chalkboard, and/or dry erase.
Access to reliable transportation
Qualifications- Master’s degree in School Psychology (Required)
- PA School Psychologist Certification (Required)
- 1st Year Certified School Psychologist are encouraged to apply.
- 2+ years as a School Psychologist (Preferred)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- PA Department of Education Federal Criminal History Report (FBI)
- PA Arrest Conviction Form (Act 24) Clearance (Current within 1 year)
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, learning processes, and behavioral strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
