Aircraft Mechanic – C-26 Platform

Location: King Aerospace

Job Type: Contract / Full-Time

Position Summary

King Aerospace is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic with experience supporting C-26 aircraft to join our maintenance team. This role supports inspection, repair, and modification work in a high-standard, mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, detail-oriented, and experienced working on military or special-mission aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on C-26 aircraft
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframe and systems
  • Remove and install aircraft components and assemblies
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, IPCs, wiring diagrams, and technical orders
  • Document work performed in compliance with FAA and company standards
  • Support modification and upgrade projects as required
  • Maintain tool control and a clean, organized work area
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
  • A&P License preferred (or strong military equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on C-26 or similar military turboprop experience required
  • 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance if required
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Stand, bend, kneel for extended periods
  • Work in hangar and flight line environments
