Job description:

This position is responsible for maintenance and cleaning duty at a commercial laundry facility.

Must be able to work the following schedule but also be flexible to work other times and or day (depending on needs)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, etc

Emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces

Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures

Assist in cleaning rooms

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition

Sweep, and clean restrooms

Mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows

Empty and clean all trash receptacles

Mopping, scrubbing floors, and vacuuming.

Removing trash and sanitizing trash containers

Dusting and vacuuming

Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies

Maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment

Perform light dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and dishware cleaning

Qualifications and Skills:

Good communication skills

Follow all company procedures corresponding to safety standards

Commercial cleaning experience preferred

Physical / Mental Requirements:

May be at an industrial setting with hot/cold environment and distracting noise levels.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
