AboutThe Role
This is a 1st shift role focused on supporting machining operations in Arden Hills. Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set‑up and calibration tasks, preventative maintenance, and performing quality testing related to the production of machined/stamped components. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Works with engineers in conducting experiments. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of taking direction and delivering results with little supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new skills and work closely with manufacturing engineers to complete tasks such as new equipment evaluation forms, equipment procedures, PCAs, validation support, etc.
On‑site work model; requires employees to be in the local office five days per week.

Your Responsibilities Will Include- Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations.
- Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment problems to minimize downtime.
- Identifies and implements corrective actions for various manufacturing‑related issues.
- Regularly completes scheduled/preventive and calibration maintenance.
- Routinely responds and executes equipment maintenance and/or coordinates with outside contractors.
- Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
- Evaluates operating data to conduct on‑line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. May develop or revise documents and procedures.
- Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures.
- Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.
- Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures as necessary.
- Additional duties as required.
- 3 years of experience with HS degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline with 7+ years of related experience.
- Proven record of working closely and successfully with manufacturing and process development engineers.
- Comfortable reading electrical schematics and part drawings.
- Basic understanding of medical device documentation requirements.
- Great attitude and strong desire to learn new skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Manufacturing background.
- Medical Device regulation experience.
- Experience with CNC Mills, Swiss‑style Lathes, and Wire EDM equipment.
