Job Title:
Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator – Third Shift 11 pm – 7 am
Pay Range: $33–$39/hour
The Job You Will PerformWe are seeking a self‑motivated Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator to join our third shift team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a flexible, fast‑paced production environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, calibration, run‑out measurement, component alignment, and observation of equipment operations, vibration, and noise.
- Troubleshoot and perform emergency/breakdown maintenance to support continuous plant operations.
- Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations.
- Operate and interpret results from various measuring and test equipment accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including work area cleanup upon task completion.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and other required documentation.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
- Valid Minnesota 2B Boiler License or higher.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read and use various measurement tools and devices accurately.
- Broad experience in mechanical, electrical, and machine shop operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience, with at least one (1) year at the same employer.
- Technical degree or apprenticeship certification.
- Maintenance experience in the corrugated industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Candidates advancing in the selection process will be required to complete a skills test, participate in a panel interview, and pass a background check, drug screen, and pre‑employment health assessment.
