Formulator / Nutritionist – Land O’Lakes, Inc.

Location:

Land O’Lakes Corporate Headquarters – Arden Hills, MN. Remote (virtual) positions available for qualified candidates anywhere in the USA.

The Formulator/Nutritionist is responsible for implementing and supporting the formulation of custom premixes and feed additives for both internal and external customers. This includes creating formulas to specification, maintaining labels, evaluating ingredient alternatives, and providing technical support across departments.

• Manage new, revised, and current products (50% of total job): primarily swine and poultry formulas, ensuring product specifications and manufacturing capabilities alignment, timely customer communication, and compliance with FDA, state, and business requirements.
• Provide technical support across departments and customers (20% of total job).
• Rework formulation, support formulation system, and capture savings opportunities (20% of total job).
• Manage product movement and extensions across Nutra Blend facilities, maintaining quality standards across plants (10% of total job).

• 4‑year degree in Agriculture (Animal Science or related field preferred).
• Master’s degree in animal nutrition preferred; experience may offset the need.
• Related formulation and software experience highly desired.
• 5 years of nutritional experience required.
• Knowledge of premix formulation a plus.

Salary Range: $79,200 – $118,800. Most candidates offered employment are hired near the middle of the range.
