Senior Supplier Engineer - Medical Device
Location: Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid - minimum 3 days onsite)
Pay Rate: Up to $77.00 per hour
We are seeking a Senior Supplier Engineer to support advanced medical device development and global supply chain integration in Arden Hills, MN. This role plays a critical part in integrating OEM, subsystem, and component supplier technologies into regulated cardiac diagnostic products, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance standards are met.
As the technical lead, you will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to drive supplier design assurance, process validation, risk management, and compliance initiatives within a highly regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supplier integration for new and existing technologies
- Execute supplier control deliverables including material qualifications, change assessments, and capability improvement projects
- Review and generate quality plans, product specifications, design verification/validation, and process validation documentation
- Support complaint investigations, CAPA activities, and supplier corrective actions
- Conduct supplier audits aligned with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and MDR requirements
- Perform supplier risk assessments and drive continuity of supply strategies
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in medical device development and supplier quality engineering
- Strong background in design controls, risk management, CAPA, and process validation
- Ability to travel 5-10% globally
