About the role

The Sales Strategy & Commercial Initiatives Principal Analyst leads upstream sales strategy and early commercial planning to support profitable, scalable growth for Cardiac Rhythm Management/Diagnostics. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams, this role shapes commercial sales models and aligns priorities to enable effective execution across the organization.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role translates enterprise and divisional objectives into clear, actionable sales strategies that support long-term business outcomes.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Responsibilities
  • Shape and influence commercial planning, sales model design, and launch readiness that support scalable deployment
  • Drive long-range planning and multi-year sales transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization
  • Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations to address complex commercial opportunities and deliver optimal business value
  • Identify and lead process and operating model improvements using appropriate methodologies, metrics, and quantitative analysis
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Pricing & Contracting, Sales Training, and other internal teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leadership by translating complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications Required qualifications
  • Extensive experience in sales strategy, sales operations, commercial planning, or related functions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills with a partner-focused approach
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and navigate ambiguity in a matrixed organization
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear strategic recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with in Boston Scientific, medical device, or healthcare industries
  • Prior focus in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or Commercial Excellence
  • Experience supporting sales transformation initiatives or enterprise-scale launches

Minimum Salary: $102100

Maximum Salary: $194000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see — will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
