Position OverviewWe are hiring an experienced Inside Upholsterer for our Upholstery Manufacturing facility in Archdale, NC.
Responsibilities- Read production tickets and special instructions
- Build pieces on time according to production schedule
- Keep work area clean and clear
- Scan the piece out once completed and approved for outsiding
- Minimum 3 years experience in inside upholstery for fine custom furniture (fabric and leather)
- Ability to utilize tools such as staple gun, scissors, regulator, button needle, staple puller, pliers, tape measure, etc.
- Apply appropriate amounts of cotton and rubber for the seat, back and arms; then upholster fabric to finish the interior of the piece
- Ensure fabric is smooth and fits the frame properly; all pleats must be short and uniform
