Overview
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students within a school setting. This leave contract role offers an opportunity to work with maternity leave coverage initially in Lackawanna County, followed by itinerant services to students in the Dunmore, PA area starting in the spring. The position entails 35 hours per week, with part-time candidates also considered.
Responsibilities- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school guidelines
- Support itinerant students with speech and language needs across designated school districts
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active Pennsylvania licensure for Speech-Language Pathology required
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to obtain and complete Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation to fulfill onsite responsibilities
- Comfortable participating in Zoom interviews as part of the hiring process
Position is onsite within K-12 school environments in Archbald, PA and surrounding areas. Schedule includes a full-time commitment, with potential for part-time placement.
