Weekly Gross Pay: $2,800.00 ($720.00 Taxable + $1,900.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an adaptable and highly skilled Utilization Review Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the scenic coastal community of Arcata, CA. This role involves performing clinical reviews to ensure medical necessity and appropriateness of care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician experienced in Utilization Management to work within a supportive healthcare environment in Northern California.

Required Qualifications:

Please note:

Licensure:
Active California Registered Nursing License.

Certifications:

Current BLS and ACLS certifications are strictly required.

Experience:

Verifiable experience in Utilization Management/Review.
Health:
Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Reviews:
Perform timely utilization reviews of patient records to evaluate medical necessity, appropriateness of level of care, and resource allocation.
Compliance:
Ensure all reviews adhere to state and federal regulations as well as internal facility standards.
Communication:
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and insurance providers to facilitate effective care coordination and discharge planning.
