Job Overview

Mammography Technologist in Mammo OIC Unit eph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is full time and will work 8-hour day shifts.

• Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level.
• Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards.
• Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis.
• Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• 1 year experience in Mammography.
• Experience with MQSA standards.
