Description

As a Production Supervisor at Arcadia Beverage, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production operations during your designated shift. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the production line, maintaining quality standards, organizing material consumption and leading a team of production workers to achieve production targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise and coordinate production activities on the manufacturing floor during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
  • Monitor production processes to maintain product quality standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to production team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Train new employees on production procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols, and provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team performance.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, conducting safety inspections and addressing any safety concerns or violations promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including production logs, quality control reports, and shift reports, and communicate production metrics and performance indicators to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, participating in problem‑solving initiatives and implementing best practices to optimize production processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between production team members and management, relaying important information, updates, and feedback effectively and transparently.
  • Coordinate and organize materials for each shift, including mixing operations, bottle suppliers, and all inbound materials.
  • Effectively plan and manage the shift based on the production run schedule, warehouse supply requirements, and cleaning activities to ensure all employees remain productive, engaged, and aligned with daily priorities.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the full production cycle, with the ability to make informed decisions based on prior manufacturing experience.
  • Maintain a safety‑first culture at all times, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for the entire shift.
Requirements What We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience working in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in juice or beverage production.
  • Proven success in a leadership or supervisory role, overseeing production teams and processes.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (ACCP), and other relevant food safety standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements from organizations such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), depending on the location of the company.
  • Familiarity with principles of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certifications in food safety (e.g., Serv Safe) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are highly beneficial.
  • Additional certifications related to leadership or production management may also be valuable.
  • Capable of coordinating and presenting pre‑shift meetings.
  • Leadership skills and self‑motivated.
