Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our Virginia/ Maryland offices.

Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.

Nurse Practitioner Requirements

Nurse Practitioner must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of Virginia and/or Maryland.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns;
  • Reviewing patient's medical history:
  • Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines;
  • Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain;
  • Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options;
  • Performing joint injections;
  • Provide patient education on pian management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies;
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients;
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Active VA or MD license;
  • Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred;
  • Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
