We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to a collaborative finance team.
Responsibilities- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding to the general ledger
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor onboarding
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Support audit requests and documentation as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Experience processing high-volume invoices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, or similar
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
