Airgas is hiring for a Warehouse/Backup Delivery Driver ( CDL B ) in Appleton, WI!

Job Description

  • Monday - Friday :
    First Shift
  • Gain Share Bonus ( Paid Quarterly )
  • Safety Driver Bonus ( Paid Quarterly )

Responsibilities
  • Stock, label, pick, pack, and distribute materials and supplies.
  • Physically receive, check, and store delivered materials in the warehouse; conduct regular inventory checks.
  • Enforce policies for proper receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, reviewing invoices.
  • Organize and control inventoried items.
  • Assist with inventory management, housekeeping, showroom displays, and demonstrations.
  • Perform back-up duties as per the branch daily checklist.
  • Assist customers with merchandise, load/unload cylinders as needed.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid Class B or better CDL license.
  • Must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 90 days of being hired.
  • Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
  • DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
  • Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs w/ the use of equipment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
  • Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
  • Adherence to safety regulations and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift Experience
  • Computer Experience
  • Touch freight delivery experience
