Position OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our consulting team. In this role, you will perform on-site inspections, review welding procedures, advise clients on quality control, and provide guidance to improve welding processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Conduct welding inspections and quality assessments at client sites.
- Review and evaluate welding procedures and documentation.
- Advise clients on compliance with industry codes (AWS, ASME, API, etc.).
- Provide technical recommendations to improve weld quality and efficiency.
- Assist with training and mentoring client personnel in welding best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and consultations.
- American Welding Society - Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on welding and inspection experience.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to client sites as needed.
- Experience with multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW) preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
