RS Avionics Installer I - 2nd Shift (GAC Appleton) – Gulfstream Aerospace

• Shift: Second, Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am.

• Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment following blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Disassemble and assemble cabinets; perform basic plumbing for cabinetry.
• Wire cabinetry per digital drawings; conduct functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
• Use a multimeter and other measurement tools.
• Maintain required logs and records.
• Comply with FOD, tool‑control, 5‑S, and all safety regulations.
• Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills and general software knowledge.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred and/or successful completion of Gulfstream youth apprenticeship program.
