Responsibilities

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate provides a positive in-store shopping experience and handles tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting rooms, and stock room to ensure safety and a welcoming environment.
• Follow company policies to ensure safety for all staff and customers.
• Assist with product launches following company SOPs.
• Provide excellent customer service and deliver on the customer experience model.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately to reduce wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues promptly, escalating when necessary, and communicate resolutions to management.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining benefits and encouraging participation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of relevant experience, minimum 6 months
• Proficient with technology (iPad, registers)
• Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours
• Physical capability to meet job requirements

Critical Skills & Attributes

• Preferred previous retail experience
• Customer service and interaction skills
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
