About the EmERge Program: Our EmERge Program offers immersive emergency veterinarian training, propelling you toward becoming a skilled, confident, and proficient emergency veterinarian, equipped to administer life-saving care for pets in crisis.
From day one, you'll be part of our team, receiving hands-on training, lectures, mentoring, and real-world experience. This comprehensive one-year program furnishes all the essential components for a prosperous career in emergency veterinary medicine, encompassing vital hands-on experiences, immersive training, and personalized mentorship crucial for success. Throughout the program, you'll forge lasting connections with peers and create indelible memories, enriching your journey along the way.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited veterinary school
Passed (or pending) the NAVLE
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of interest
Program Structure
Phase 1 (Weeks 1-14):
4 Weeks of Bootcamp
: A combination of virtual (Weeks 1-2) and in-person (Weeks 3-4) training to build foundational emergency medicine skills.2 Weeks of Specialty Rotations

Gain exposure to various specialties to enhance your understanding and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.8 Weeks of ER Shifts
:
Apply your training in a real-world setting under the mentorship of experienced emergency clinicians.
Phase 2 (Weeks 15-32):
Increased Responsibility
:
Transition to managing more complex cases with greater independence while still receiving guidance from mentors.ER Shift Focus

Work full shifts in the ER, continuing to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.Ongoing Mentorship

Regular check-ins with mentors to review cases, address challenges, and refine clinical skills.Exposure to Diverse Cases

Phase 3 (Weeks 33-52):
Independent Case Management

Take on full responsibility for managing emergency cases, showcasing confidence and competence in clinical decision-making.Co

Work alongside the hospital team to provide exceptional patient care while honing leadership and communication skills.Advanced Skill Application

Apply advanced diagnostic and procedural skills gained throughout the program to handle high-acuity cases.Mentor Support

A one-year work commitment after training is required, totaling two years.

Compensation During the Program:
Phase 1 (Weeks 1-14): $4615.38 bi-weekly (equivalent to $120,000 annually)
Phase 2 (Weeks 15-32): $4615.38 bi-weekly (equivalent to $120,000 annually)
Phase 3 (Weeks 33-52):
Full market rate plus production.
Please note that theEmERgeprogram doesn't replace or substitute an internship required for application to a residency.
