Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
  • Certifications Requirements: AHA BLS certification, EPIC charting experience, State-specific RN license
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of acute care RN experience, prior travel or contract experience, experience with Med/Surg, COVID, Pre-post Cath, and Pacemaker patient care
  • Other Requirements: Ability to manage change efficiently, resilient, social, with strong communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team; flexibility to float within facility; must pass background check and drug screening

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality bedside care to surgical, COVID, and medical/surgical patients within the assigned unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update patient care plans based on clinical assessments and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses in Epic EMR within the last year.
  • Float throughout the facility within skillsets, providing support to various units as needed, including pediatrics and post-procedure care.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatments, post-discharge care, and medication management to promote health and safety.
