The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of high-impact social media initiatives that strengthen brand presence, expand digital communities, and drive engagement across multiple platforms. This role blends creative storytelling, visual content development, and data-driven marketing to deliver compelling campaigns that connect with a highly engaged outdoor enthusiast audience. The position requires strategic oversight of social media performance, management of paid social initiatives, and the ability to translate product features into engaging digital narratives that enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that increases brand awareness, engagement, and community growth across major platforms.
- Create high-quality visual and multimedia content that effectively showcases trail camera products and resonates with outdoor and hunting audiences.
- Design and produce digital graphics and visual assets using professional design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Plan, manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and return on advertising spend.
- Analyze social media and campaign performance using analytics tools to inform content optimization and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and coordinated campaign execution.
- Develop compelling storytelling that communicates product value while maintaining brand consistency and authenticity.
- Manage multiple social media projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, quality standards, and strategic alignment.
- Identify emerging social media trends, tools, and platforms to maintain a competitive and innovative digital presence.
- Implement SEO best practices and platform-specific optimization techniques for video and social media content.
- Continuously generate fresh, engaging content that differentiates the brand in a competitive outdoor and consumer technology market.
- Establish efficient workflows for content planning, production, publishing, and performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of proven experience in social media content creation and digital marketing.
- Demonstrated experience creating visual content with professional graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and digital content trends.
- Experience managing and optimizing paid social media budgets and campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Experience using analytics tools to measure and improve social media performance.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for video and social media content.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across marketing and creative teams.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to brand consistency and quality.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies, social media platforms, and digital marketing practices.
- Familiarity with or interest in hunting and outdoor recreation is beneficial.
