Job Requirements
Hours:
Schedule A – Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm to midnight;
Friday 3:00–7:00 pm.
Schedule B – Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. (Rotating every week).
Reports To:
Screen Printing Production Supervisor.
FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt.
Pre‑Employment Screening:
Background check, education verification, drug test.
As a screen printing press operator on 2nd shift, you will produce screen‑printed garments in a highly efficient production environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot a screen‑printing press to produce screen‑printed garments with customer‑supplied artwork.
- Interpret work orders and job aids to ensure accurate execution.
- Inspect print quality and graphic placement for high quality, accurate prints.
- Maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Keep an organized workflow for smooth and consistent output.
- Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
- Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.
Essential skills, experience, and abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent (equivalency obtainable within first year of employment).
- Experience working in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Ability to adapt to a swiftly changing work environment.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and focused on actionable details.
- Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Proficiency with alphanumeric data and operating machinery or production equipment.
- Multi‑tasker, energetic, and willing to take initiative.
