Screen Printing Press Operator

Job Requirements

Hours:

Schedule A – Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm to midnight;
Friday 3:00–7:00 pm.
Schedule B – Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. (Rotating every week).

Reports To:

Screen Printing Production Supervisor.

FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt.

Pre‑Employment Screening:
Background check, education verification, drug test.

As a screen printing press operator on 2nd shift, you will produce screen‑printed garments in a highly efficient production environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot a screen‑printing press to produce screen‑printed garments with customer‑supplied artwork.
• Interpret work orders and job aids to ensure accurate execution.
• Inspect print quality and graphic placement for high quality, accurate prints.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Keep an organized workflow for smooth and consistent output.
• Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
• Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.

Essential skills, experience, and abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent (equivalency obtainable within first year of employment).
• Experience working in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Ability to adapt to a swiftly changing work environment.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and focused on actionable details.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Proficiency with alphanumeric data and operating machinery or production equipment.
• Multi‑tasker, energetic, and willing to take initiative.
