Job Requirements

• Sort mixed paper from boxes, skids or bales into single grades.
• Place the sorted paper into boxes and bins or onto the conveyor.
• Dump boxes of sorted material into bins or on the conveyor; material may need to be removed by hand until the box weight allows for dumping.
• Stack empty boxes and skids neatly for reuse; must be able to lift 50# often.
• Cut banding off of paper bundles with utility knife; then put paper into the bins or on the conveyor.
• Cut rolls with the roll splitter; small rolls will be placed manually on the roll cutter.
• Larger rolls will need assistance from another worker and a forklift.
• Perform general cleaning of the work area; sweep and/or pick up debris; undertake outside paper and debris pickup when required.

• Paper Recycling Experience preferred.
