Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and production, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay Range:
Shift: Multiple shifts available including 6 am-6 pm and 6 pm-6 am, with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
What's the Job?
- Operate assigned machinery such as sheeters or printing presses to ensure smooth production flow
- Perform basic adjustments to machinery to meet quality standards and production deadlines
- Conduct quality inspections and report any defective materials or issues
- Assist with machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal operation
- Handle packaging, labeling, roll opening, splicing, and roll tending duties as needed
What's Needed?
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly sheeters or printing presses preferred
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and internal/external documentation
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as EPICOR or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Willingness to perform general maintenance and assist with machine setup and troubleshooting
