Prep pipe for paint, load and unload the furnace, load and unload the vault, stencil and load pipe on wagons.
Summary of Major Responsibilities/Duties- Prep pipe for paint
- Load and unload furnace
- Load and unload the vault
- Stencil pipe
- Load pipe on wagons to shipping/delivery
- Conducts work safely and follows all safety procedures. Rejects work that is not safe and discusses the situation with supervisor.
Skills and Abilities
Required
- No prior experience or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or dial form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
