Direct Start is working witha leading manufacturing company that specializes in producing high-quality precision parts for a variety of industries. We are currently seeking a skilled machinist to join our team and contribute to our continued success. All of the programming is done offline so candidates don't necessarily need to know Master Cam or Gibbs programming, but they need to have a full understanding of G&M code.

This is a job shop andyou will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. We are looking for Machinists not operators.

• 5 years experience with Roll building.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine set-up and production methods
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machines or parts, ensuring minimal downtime
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of orders
• Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency

• 5 years experience setting up machine including tooling.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and instruments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting
