$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Hours: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
• Apply mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Keep a daily log of work done to turn into shift supervisor at the end of each shift
• Work in a variety of areas ranging from ground to the roof
• Work in very low to very high temperatures with proper personal protective equipment
• Perform landscape and snow removal duties
• Clean up the work area during and at the end of each shift
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma/GED
• Few years of production and industrial maintenance experience required
• Education in industrial maintenance or similar preferred, but not required

• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• The ability to lift up to 80 pounds on very rare occasions
• The ability to grasp, hold, and use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers
• The ability to grasp, hold, and use power tools such as saws, vibratory tools, and drills
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds
• The ability to kneel and crawl in performance of normal maintenance duties
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• Must be able to sit, walk, bend, and twist for long periods of time throughout the day
