Service Technician

Direct Hire E/M Service Technician opening with an established manufacturing company in Appleton!

The Service Technician will work with new and newly installed equipment in their plant and at client sites to ensure proper start-up and solve process related issues. The Service Technician will train customer operators and ensure proper audits and documentation are completed. They will work with project managers, engineering, and client staff as well.

The Service Technician requires up to 50% travel, both domestically and internationally, which includes company paid food and hotel. Our client also has an excellent benefits package to add to the total compensation package. Base pay is $31-$38/hr. depending on experience. When not traveling, hours are Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm with some overtime as needed.

Technical or Associate's Degree in related field ideal but will consider adequate experience.
At least three years of electro-mechanical experience within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of process improvement
Solid Math skills including metric conversions
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and machine shop equipment.
Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and/or internationally.
Must have or be able to obtain basic hand tool set.
