Night Cleaner – ABM Industries

The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 hourly rate. Specific offer will vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.

Job Functions:

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting).
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies).
• Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash to proper disposal areas).
• Restock supply cabinet/room.
• Clean all mirrors, bright work and enameled surfaces.
• Wash and disinfect all basins, urinals and bowls, removing stains and cleaning undersides of rim.
• Damp wipe and wash with disinfectant when necessary all partitions, title walls and outside surfaces of dispensers and receptacles.
• Fill toilet tissue, soap, paper towel and sanitary napkin dispensers.
• Clean flush‑ometers, piping, toilet seat hinges and other metal work.
• Vacuum louvers, ventilating grilles and dust light fixtures as required.
• Stock restrooms.
• Straighten areas such as lobbies, conference rooms, locker rooms and break rooms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Passing a pre‑employment background screening and drug test required.
• Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties.
