Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized and confidential.
Responsibilities- Prepare, edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents.
- Preparing motion forms for review.
- Create and maintain case files.
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders.
- Professional client communications, answering questions and updates.
- Assist with client intake and manage sensitive client information with discretion.
- Coordinate all real estate closing and manage case schedules and court calendar.
- Process and file legal documents with the courts and agencies.
- Assist with billing, process expense reports, and track continuing legal eduction credit.
- Conduct legal research
- Opening and closing of files.
- 2 years of experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal
- Associate's degree or Paralegal certificate
