Service Writer

Now hiring a Service Writer in Appleton, WI.

We are looking for a hard‑working candidate to join our client’s team in the Service Department to help support administrative functions!

The Service Writer will be assisting with a variety of service duties, as well as being a point of contact for customers and internal employees. Specific duties for the Service Writer will include plugging the truck in for diagnostics upon arrival and relaying to the technicians what needs to be done, writing up service orders, processing warranty paperwork, generating invoicing, weekly reporting and other data entry duties as needed.

The company is within the heavy‑duty trucking industry so they would prefer someone with experience working in the industry or similar field.

This is a contract to hire Service Writer position with the possibility of being a direct hire. Hours are Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wages are $25–$35 per hour.

• At least one year of previous service experience but open to a Diesel Technician looking to get off the floor.
• Experience working in the heavy‑duty truck industry.
• Must be proficient with other Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
