- Operate imaging equipment, and review images to ensure quality and usefulness for diagnosis
- Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
- Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
- Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility

- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
- American Heart Association BLS
- 2 years of recent relevant experience
- $1,820 - $1,986 per week
- 12-week contract with possibility to extend
