Position Summary

The CSS informs clients العميل and the representing attorney of the available sentencing options and treatment services.

Salary Information

The starting salary for this position will be between $23.00 and $34.34 per hour. Pay for current or former state employees may vary per the applicable provisions in the State Compensation Plan. This placement falls in the Pay Schedule/Range (12‑64). Salary will depend on experience and qualifications, be based on the current compensation plan, and includes a one‑year probationary period.

Job Details

Background Check
:
All qualified-Presentable applicants are considered with criminal histories as per applicable federal, state, and local laws. A criminal background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment.

License Requirement
: A valid driver’s license and the ability/authorization to operate a state vehicle is required. Travel to other Wisconsin counties may be required.

Ability to Testify
:
Must possess the capability to testify effectively in court; candidates with convictions that could impeach testimony are not considered.

Eligibility to work in the US
:
The SPD does not sponsor visas. All hires must verify U.S. work eligibility and complete the I‑9 Employment Eligibility Form.
