Mortgage Loan Processor- Bilingual

We currently have a career opportunity for a full-time Mortgage Loan Processor – Bilingual (English/Spanish) based out of our corporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton!
After initial onboarding onsite, this position could have the opportunity for hybrid (3+ days onsite/week, 2 remote) work consideration.
However, candidates must reside in Wisconsin to be considered.

The Mortgage Loan Processor – Bilingual assists members and Fox Mortgage Loan Originators with their Real Estate Loan applications, by reviewing applications for accuracy and collecting necessary documentation for review by Fox underwriting for final loan approval and to ensure a superior member experience.

The primary responsibilities of the Mortgage Loan Processor - Bilingual role include but are not limited to:

• Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
• Reviewing income and asset documentation, credit reports, title reports, and appraisals, ensuring they are acceptable for credit union in-house and secondary market standards
• Submitting applications with supporting documentation to underwriting for approval timely to ensure closing and commitment deadlines are met
• Interacting professionally with internal and external members, originators, real estate agents, and outside third-party associated vendors to obtain necessary documentation
• Processing a variety of mortgage loan applications from home equity products, purchase, refinance, and construction transactions
• Managing application workflow to ensure timely approvals and meet lock expiration dates
• Answering internal and external member phone calls, emails, and other communications

Candidates for the Mortgage Loan Processor - Bilingual position should possess:

• One to three years of similar or related experience
• Ability to speak and translate fluent English and a second language as required for this position
• Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, understand potential issues, and steps to resolve
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Knowledge of real estate loan processing, closing policies, procedures, documentation, and basic underwriting requirements
