Utility Drafter​/Designer

Utility Designer

We are seeking a skilled Utility Designer responsible for designing and drafting utility layouts and specifications for gas and electric distribution.

• Design and draft utility layouts and specifications for gas and electric distribution.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain compliance with utility standards and regulations.
• Utilize design software to create detailed project drawings.
• Use GPS survey equipment to gather and analyze site data for utility design projects.
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of utility construction projects.

• Proficiency in drafting with software such as AutoCAD and Micro Station.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and distribution design principles.
• Experience with Trimble GPS for data gathering and analysis.

• Associate's degree in mechanical, drafting, civil, or equivalent field experience.
• Experience with gas and electric utilities is preferred.

This position requires on-site work from Monday to Friday.

This is a permanent position based in Appleton, WI.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
