Lawrence University of Wisconsin, a selective undergraduate liberal arts college and conservatory of music located in Appleton, Wisconsin, invites applications for a one-year appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin September 1, 2026. Applicants should hold a PhD in biology or related discipline and be interested in working closely with undergraduate students. Responsibilities include teaching BIOL 130:
Cellular Form and Function, BIOL 260:
Genetics, and an upper-level course(s) in the candidate's area of expertise. The teaching load is two non-lab courses or one course with two lab sections per trimester on a 10-week trimester calendar. Laboratory space, funds to support research, and support for professional development will be available.
