Summary

This position is open at our sister site – Early Learning Center – located in Neenah, Wisconsin. Address: 2425 Industrial Dr., Neenah, WI 54956. The Child Care Teacher is responsible for planning and carrying out a daily program designed to nurture and meet the physical and developmental needs of a group of young children. The teacher must be able to effectively assess and supervise the needs of individual children, be professionally prepared in early childhood education or development, and meet licensing and Young Star requirements.

The ideal candidate is sensitive, mature, and able to relate well to both children and adults.

• Fulfills all responsibilities in accordance with the center's educational philosophy.
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment for children, protecting each child's health, safety, dignity, and basic rights.
• Completes all legally‑required reporting for health and safety and remains compliant with licensing rules and center policies.
• Maintains time management, punctuality, and attendance.
• Supervises and interacts with children to enhance their growth and development, ensuring safety using approved behavior guidance and care‑giving techniques that support the overall program objectives. Utilizes skills in the Pyramid Model as well as Young Star.
• Participates in activities that promote professionalism and collaborates with other staff members to create a positive, team‑oriented environment.
• Communicates clearly with parents and builds relationships with families to provide inclusive care.

• High School Diploma
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
