Regular, full‑time faculty member (assistant or associate professor) in transportation engineering (e.g., planning, traffic operations, safety, transportation construction or other areas) to perform teaching, research, and service in the Department of Civil, Construction & Environmental Engineering at Marquette University. Knowledge of data analytics and/or artificial intelligence is desirable. The position is tenure‑track; tenure will not be granted upon hiring, even at associate professor rank.
The successful candidate must work toward tenure based on the college and university promotion and tenure guidelines and process.
- Earned doctorate or terminal degree
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high‑quality research
- Expertise in transportation engineering
- Expertise in data analytics/AI
- Professional engineer license
- Record of successful teaching at the university level as instructor of record
