Job Description SummaryFox Valley Technical College is establishing a pool of supervising dentists for dental hygiene clinicals. Hours vary, up to 11.75 hours per week.
Job DescriptionEssential Functions and Responsibilities
- Along with dental hygiene faculty, oversee campus clinic of learners providing assessments and treatment of dental hygiene care to patients.
- Review medical history performance provided from dental hygiene students.
- Assess outcome of dental hygiene students performance of head, neck and oral exam.
- Grade radiographic images performed by dental hygiene students.
- Grade dental charting outcomes from dental hygiene students.
- Provide feedback to dental hygiene students radiographic interpretation of findings.
- Authorize prescriptions for radiographic images, fluoride treatments, and local anesthetic.
- Calibrate with dental hygiene faculty.
- Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
- Valid Wisconsin Dentist License
- Current CPR certificate
- Work must be completed in person.
- Sitting:
Requires extended periods of sitting while performing tasks and utilizing computer systems. - Mobility:
Occasional mobility may be necessary for attending meetings, office tours, or events within the workplace. - Fine Motor
Skills:
May need precise hand movements or manual dexterity for activities such as writing on a whiteboard, demonstrating experiments, or using instructional technology like computers. - Communication:
Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees, candidates, and stakeholders, both in-person and through electronic means.

CompensationPay Rate: $65.00 per hour. Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data.
