Description:

Enable Tulsa Tech facilities to maintain a necessary state of readiness for staff and students by providing timely installation and repair of plumbing in new construction and remodels.

Essential Functions:

Works under the direction of the licensed Plumbing Lead Technician.

Install plumbing components with a minimum of disruption of classes, offices, or work areas.

Troubleshoot and repair problems with plumbing; restoring use with appropriate expediency.

Test and verify plumbing components at completion point to ensure the installation is ready for users.

Determine material orders; price materials; order materials for new construction and remodel projects.

Manage critical time frames for job completion; accommodate changing plans and specifications during job installation.

Maintain District compliance with plumbing codes for projects under the supervision of the Plumbing Lead Technician.

Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of three years experience working as a Journeyman Plumber.
State of Oklahoma Journeyman Plumbing License required.
Valid state issued driver's license.
Bilingual is a plus.

Hiring Range:

$45,550 to $50,318 dependent on experience, plus additional $9,600 compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.
