Overview
Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2390) at Target.
Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.25 USD per hour.

- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their needs.
- Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events; be knowledgeable about tools, products and services to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
- Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs; assist with applications or sign-ups as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait times while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Understand and demonstrate the Target App features and functions, including Wallet; be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering and assist guests with enrollment and usage.
- Handle returns following store policies; collaborate with Leaders as needed to resolve guest needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
- Operate in a safe manner, comply with safety policies and training, report hazards and take corrective action when possible.
- Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders, and returns while ensuring compliance with laws and store policies.
- All other duties based on business needs.
- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills; ability to be welcoming and helpful to guests and team members.
- Attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks; willingness to educate guests about products and services.
- Ability to use handheld scanners and technology equipment as directed; work independently and in a team; stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally; flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance.
- Ability to remain mobile during the shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions as required by job duties.
