- High school graduate - secretarial experience required
- Ability to work as a productive member of a team and to take initiative/leadership when working independently
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Computer experience with Access, Excel, Word, Publisher, Google Docs, Student Information and Financial Systems (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills: working with parents, all staff and community members in a positive, professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks during busy times of the year (manage time efficiently)
- Flexible
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
- Responsible for answering telephones and parent/student contact
- Assist Athletic Director with contracts, timesheets and registration
- Financial responsibilities including accounting, bookkeeping and purchasing
- Create and maintain student and staff forms
- Responsibilities for daily substitutes (clerical and teaching)
- Other duties as assigned
