Family Medicine Physician

Overview

Join our Hesperia or Apple Valley, CA team as a Family Practice Physician. This is a full-time, direct-hire position at an outpatient clinic.

Salary Range: $260,000 - $350,000 (depending on location).

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, review medical records, and elicit comprehensive medical histories.
• Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to diagnose conditions accurately.
• Develop treatment plans, including medication prescriptions and vaccinations, based on state guidelines and clinic policies.
• Promote preventive health measures and provide patient education on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Perform surgical procedures within competency and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Document patient encounters electronically and follow up on patient progress.
• Oversee family planning services, maintain provider goals, and participate in health education activities.
• Supervise mid-level providers and respond to emergency situations, including code situations.
• Schedule typically Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

• Medical Degree (MD, DO) with a minimum of 3 years of Family Practice residency.
• At least two (2) years of experience in public health.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Required certifications: CA Medical License, DEA Certificate, BSL certification.
