RN – NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Full-Time | Night Shift (12-hour shifts)

The Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU provides specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role delivers evidence-based, family-centered care while collaborating closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates requiring intensive medical support
• Perform continuous assessments and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per NICU protocols
• Support and educate parents and families throughout the NICU stay
• Promote compassionate communication and emotional support
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• California Registered Nurse (RN) License (required upon hire)
• BLS – American Heart Association (required upon hire)
• NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics (required upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

• At least 1 year of RN NICU experience
• Active California RN License
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
