Overview
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides diagnosis, treatment, and patient care under supervision, including exams, diagnostic testing, procedures, and medication prescribing within state guidelines.
Responsibilities- Maintaining accurate medical records, developing care plans, patient education, supervising staff and students, and participating in quality assurance activities.
- Requires current CA licensure, NP certification, DEA, BLS, and at least two years of clinical experience.
- Must possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to handle diverse patient populations.
- Physical demands include exposure to biohazards and light lifting.
- Work schedule is Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and potential travel between clinics.
- Compensation ranges from $65-$80/hour, full-time, in person.
